In this new era of meetings, we have learned that navigating in the virtual realm has no doubt been challenging. This article will hopefully help to focus on the technical issues, question-and-answer updates, CEU availability and completion of evaluations.Knowing this may not answer everyone’s questions on virtual meetings, the PSC would like to make it as painless as possible

Meeting resources are posted on the NRG Oncology website. The path is noted https://www.nrgoncology.org/Meetings-Resources/Meetings - once at this point, go to the Protocol Support Committee & CTN/CRA Workshop sessions and login to access.

When registering for the meeting, please be cognizant of any browser needs (Chrome vs Edge vs Internet Explorer) and your institutional policies.Over the last 18 months, this has continued to be the one area of never-ending change. After you register for your selected meetings, invitations to attend will be sent to you. Key point is to try the link sent to ease any meeting day glitches.

During the meeting, we have a question-and-answer session for each presentation. Please notice the question button located on your screen, you may submit a question at any time. The goal of the PSC is to answer all questions as they are posted but due to limited time, this may not be possible. Therefore, the PSC agendas, as well as where to find the presentation recordings and Q&A document will be posted after the meeting.

The PSC has been able to offer both Nursing Continuing Education and CME credits for these sessions. To receive the credits, you must complete the evaluations. The details and links to these forms are located on your ‘my event’ home page for this meeting.

The PSC hopes this information can ease the virtual meeting anxiety. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the PSC with constructive ideas as we too continue to learn with each new meeting format. We do apologize for any meeting day issues.Thank you for taking the time to be a part of NRG Oncology and your contribution to tackling Cancer one meeting at a time.
