NRG Oncology seeks to fill the position of Chair of the NRG Oncology Publications Committee

We are seeking nominations for the position of Chair, NRG Oncology Publications Committee. The Publication Committee within NRG promotes and facilitates the publication of studies to ensure NRG Oncology results are published in a timely manner, assures authorship lines are appropriate, reviews the science of abstracts and papers, assures timely reporting by assigning or reassigning responsibility, monitoring compliance with the Publication Policy, and proposes recommendations to update the Publications Policy as necessary. The Publications Committee may be required to consider and adjudicate appeals and/or disputes related to publications and may be required to issue recommendations to the Group Chairs for final decision.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a history of mentorship and a willingness to provide timely collaboration with members and liaisons of the various NRG committees and staff to address common concerns in support of the committee’s purpose and NRG’s mission and scientific focus.

NRG Oncology Committee Chairs must be at an NRG Oncology Member Institution and eligible to receive federal funding. Nominal funds from federal grants to offset related effort and travel to NRG Oncology meetings is provided.
