COVID-19 Safety

Vaccination Requirement

All in-person attendees at the NRG Oncology Winter 2023 Meeting must be up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccine as per CDC guidelines by the time of the meeting. Please refer to the CDC website for the different recommendations and latest updates for COVID-19 vaccines. We will comply with all city, state, and federal regulations and update our health and safety policies as appropriate. If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19, you must stay home. NRG Oncology will be requiring all attendees, exhibitors, staff, and vendors to attest that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 during registration. Please be aware of your individual institution's travel policies prior to making travel plans. The course of the pandemic remains unclear and unpredictable, and any changes to our plans will be announced should a virtual conference become necessary.

Please note that travel guidance is subject to change at any time. International attendees are encouraged to check current travel restrictions by visiting the CDC website and country-specific COVID-19 requirements provided by the U.S. Department of State.

General safety and wellness measures include but are not limited to:

  • Touchless check-in and badge printing to include colored lanyards indicating social distancing comfort levels
  • All registrations will be completed online
  • Hand sanitizing stations
  • Mask requirement for everyone in the convention center, Exhibit Hall, and airport shuttle buses
  • Cleaning between sessions
  • Wider Exhibit Hall aisles
  • Greater seating distance in session rooms

Attendees must agree to abide by and engage in appropriate health and safety conduct as specified by NRG Oncology while attending the Event. This includes, but is not limited to not attending the Winter 2022 Meeting if ill or have recently been exposed to COVID-19, providing the required attestation regarding COVID-19 vaccination or testing during registration, complying with mask mandates, adhering to the posted signs and other basic sickness-prevention measures as defined by the CDC. By registering, attendees accept the below COVID-19 Assumption of Risk, Waiver and Compliance Commitment.

I am aware of the inherent risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus involved in attending the in Winter 2023 meeting in Orlando, FL. COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. To the extent that I attend the in-person event, I agree to engage in appropriate health and safety conduct as specified by NRG Oncology and to follow all instructions contained in the Attendee Policies, as well as any posted instructions and signage while attending the NRG Oncology Winter 2023 event. I voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 when attending this meeting and WAIVE LIABILITY AGAINST NRG ONCOLOGY, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGES, OR SUFFERING RELATED TO EXPOSURE TO COVID-19.

Masking at the Meeting

Conference attendees are welcome to mask at any time during the meeting. NRG Oncology will be following the CDC guidelines for masking based on current conditions in Orange County where Orlando is located. For more information, visit the CDC website.
