Machtay Young Investigator Travel Award

In 2019, NRG Oncology received a generous gift from Mitchell Machtay, MD, Deputy Group Chair for Research and Chief Scientific Officer. This important and generous gift supplements the existing NRG Travel Award Program, funding the travel of one young investigator from an NRG Member Institution to the NRG Oncology meeting each year.  A longtime member of RTOG Foundation and Deputy Group Chair for NRG Oncology since its inception, Dr. Machtay has been a staunch advocate for young investigators and for NRG overall.

Named travel awards are possible as a minimum $20,000 gift; you may also contribute toward an existing award in honor of its founder. Donations can be made at https://www.nrgoncology.org/Support-NRG. If you wish to donate to a specific program please make note in the comments section.
