We’ll kick off the meeting on Thursday, July 24, 2025, with a morning session from 7:30 AM to 11:50 AM ET, available both in person and virtually. This session will open with a warm welcome and NRG updates, followed by a compelling presentation on Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) and their impact on clinical care. Attendees will gain fresh perspectives on the design and importance of pragmatic clinical trials, including a moving patient testimonial that brings the research to life. We'll also explore practical guidance on data management and adverse event reporting, alongside updates from CTSU and insights into the PSC structure and mentorship program. The morning will culminate with an energizing keynote by Dr. Thomas George, who will take us on a visionary journey through the future of cancer treatment—from groundbreaking therapies to bold innovations shaping patient care.
Immediately following, in-person attendees are invited to join our always-popular Lunch & Learn session from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM ET. Led by the passionate and knowledgeable Jennifer Dill, this interactive forum offers a chance to connect over lunch and dive into real-world research challenges and creative strategies. Pre-registration is required, and a box lunch will be provided.
The energy continues in the afternoon with our highly anticipated Roundtable Sessions from 1:30 PM to 4:45 PM ET. These fast-paced, rotating discussions are a fantastic way to engage with experts and peers alike in an informal and supportive setting. From site operations to protocol-specific Q&A, attendees will have access to a broad range of topics including NRG trials across disease sites, best practices for site management and coordinator onboarding, audit preparation, PRO compliance, biospecimen logistics, and much more. With engaging facilitators and a variety of hands-on content, these roundtables are perfect for both new and seasoned research professionals. A virtual option will also be available for select topics.
We’ll wrap up the PSC programming on Friday, July 25, 2025, with our engaging Protocol Spotlight Session from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM ET. This lively session invites attendees to take a closer look at three key NRG trials—NRG-CC015, NRG-GY036, and NRG-BR009—with presentations from leading investigators. It’s an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of protocol aims, eligibility, and implementation, while getting your questions answered directly by the experts.
All PSC sessions have been submitted for Nursing Contact Hours through the Virginia Nurses Association. Whether you’re joining us in D.C. or logging in virtually, the PSC programming promises to be an informative, interactive, and inspiring part of your NRG experience. We can’t wait to see you in July!
