NRG Oncology seeks to fill the position of Vice-Chair, NRG Oncology Immunotherapy Subcommittee

We are seeking nominations for the position of Vice-Chair, NRG Immunotherapy Subcommittee. This subcommittee within NRG sits within the NRG Medical Oncology Committee, a Scientific Core Committee, and aides in cross-group collaboration and engagement around immune-therapy agents and serving as subject matter experts on related topics. Subcommittee members will help liaise within the disease-specific committees in supporting developing concepts and protocols where immune-oncology agents may be appropriate for the patient cohorts in NRG’s portfolio.

Our Scientific Core Committees are responsible for supporting the Scientific Committee’s in developing protocols, provision of specialized expertise relevant to the scientific agenda of NRG Oncology irrespective of tumor type, and provide quality control of clinical trials and translational science projects were needed.

The successful candidate has a track record of immunotherapy clinical research, demonstrated leadership, and a commitment to the mission of NRG Oncology and cancer clinical research. Candidates should have a history of mentorship and a willingness to provide timely consultation to members and liaisons of NRG scientific committees as concepts and protocols are being developed.

NRG Oncology Committee Chairs and Vice- Chairs must be at an NRG Oncology Member Institution and eligible to receive federal funding. Nominal funds from federal grants to offset related effort and travel to NRG Oncology meetings is provided.
