SESSION FAQ
SESSION ROLES – Assigned by Committee Chair:
Session Chair – Committee Chair or designee who opens/closes the meeting, directs the flow and moderates.
Chat Moderator – Two or Three individuals who will monitor and respond to questions and comments in the Chat during the meeting.We recommend these are knowledgeable regarding the content but not presenters (or make sure you have enough assigned to cover if one is presenting)
Assigned Centrally – Operations Meeting Champions
Operations (“Ops”) Liaison: Helps with communications, administrative details
Zoom Host: Those individuals with the Zoom license who will technically schedule and have all the host controls for the session itself.This individual will forward slides, and be trained with all the other Zoom hosts to deploy uniform approaches across sessions.
Secondary Host: A licensed Zoom host who will serve as an alternative host in supporting the meeting. They will be day-of support during the webinar, focused primarily on the attendees or as needed to back up the primary Zoom host.

PRACTICE SESSIONS.We are strongly encouraging each session to run a rehearsal with all presenters; check with your session chair about a rehearsal.If you are unable to attend a rehearsal, wish for more practice, or want to talk with our Audio Visual support we also have time allotted for presenter practice as below, and will send email invites to all presenters to join at your discretion closer to time.
