Patient Advocate Purpose and Role Outline

NRG Patient Advocates are valued for their front-line experiences and unique perspectives on cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survival issues. The primary role of general members is to provide the “voice” of the patient. Patient advocates infuse the patient perspective throughout the development and implementation of clinical trials. More information on the PAC, including the committee charter, can be found on the committee website.

    • Participation in two interim PAC teleconferences (via Zoom) annually.
  • Uphold NRG’s ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality.
