NRG Oncology accepting applications for the position of Vice Chair, Radiation Oncology Committee

We are seeking
nominations for the position of Vice Chair of the NRG Oncology Radiation
Oncology Committee. The NRG Radiation Oncology Committee coordinates the
group’s radiation oncology-related activities. The successful candidate will
work closely with the chair of the committee, Dr. Evan Wuthrick and the other
vice chair Dr. Ivy Petersen to develop short- and long-term strategic plans to
address the research interests of the radiation oncology community. 
Candidates should demonstrate a history of mentorship and a willingness to
provide timely collaboration with members and liaisons of the various NRG
committees and staff, as well as with other professional societies, and to
address common concerns in support of NRG’s mission and scientific focus.

NRG Oncology
committee vice chairs must be at an NRG Oncology Member Institution and
eligible to receive federal funding. Nominal funds from federal grants to
offset related effort and travel to NRG Oncology meetings is provided.
