FORTE – New Enrollment Record!

Thanks to the efforts of the national clinical research teams supporting enrollment to NRG-CC005, the FORTE team is excited to report that the trial set a new record of over 170 participants in April 2026.
As of May 1, we have enrolled 4465 participants to this important cancer prevention trial. We’re racing to 4750 participants by the summer, 50% of total enrollment!

Save the date for the NRG 2026 Summer Meeting in Denver, CO. The meeting will be in-person, July 16-18, 2026, with select virtual sessions held during the week. If you plan to travel to Denver, the NRG FORTE team will be at the PSC Nurse/CRA Continuing Education Roundtables on Thursday afternoon to discuss protocol updates, data management, and best practices. FORTE updates will also be presented on Friday at the NCORP Townhall. The FORTE Workshop is returning to the NRG meeting on Friday, July 17, at 1 PM local time.
The FORTE Coordinator Session will be hosted as a virtual webinar on July 27, 11 am ET, coinciding with the NRG Summer Meeting. Registration is open to hear from sites about enrollment best practices. This webinar will also be an excellent opportunity to have your FORTE-related questions answered by our panel of experts.
