The countdown is officially on for the NRG 2026 Summer Meeting in Denver, Colorado! The Protocol Support Committee (PSC) has been working hard to prepare an engaging lineup for our Clinical Research Professionals – to provide meaningful connections and practical learning. This year’s sessions are designed to encourage discussions and offer takeaways, making sure that you leave with tools to enhance your clinical research work.

We will kick off the day with a morning session Thursday, July 16th from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM MT, available both in person and virtually. The morning will feature updates across NRG Oncology, including adverse event reporting, quality assurance trends, and CTSU resources. Additional highlights include sessions on data management, an exciting new presentation on theragnostic, and the evolving role of liquid biopsies in cancer care.

Immediately after the morning session, in-person attendees are invited to join our interactive PSC “Discuss With Us” LIVE Lunch & Learn from 12:00-1:15pm MT—an opportunity to network, learn, and recharge together. This session is centered on patient advocacy and the patient perspective in clinical research, featuring NRG patient advocates Lisa Lenrow and Kimberly Williams. The format is designed for open discussion and Q&A, fostering collaboration between research teams and the patients we serve. (Pre-registration required to secure box lunch.)

The afternoon will be devoted to in-person Roundtable Sessions from 1:30–4:45 PM MT. These interactive discussions cover essential topics such as protocol logistics, regulatory requirements, audit preparation, biospecimen management, and site operations. Attendees will rotate through tables, engaging directly with peers and experts to share practical, real-world strategies.

All sessions have been  approved for Continuing Education Nursing Contact Hours through the Virginia Nurses Association. Whether you are joining us in Denver or logging in virtually, the PSC programming promises to be an informative, interactive, and inspiring part of your NRG experience. We cannot wait to see you in July!
