Brain [BN] Other

Phase

III

Developmental Therapeutics

No

Primary Objective

To determine if hippocampal-avoidant
whole brain radiotherapy (HA-WBRT) in patients with distant brain failure with
brain metastasis velocity ≥4 new brain metastases/year prolongs time to
neurologic death as compared to stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).

Patient Population

Distant
brain relapse with brain metastasis velocity ≥4 brain metastases/year since
last SRS

Target Accrual

350
