September 19 2019

Do you want to become more involved in NRG Oncology? There is an opportunity to work with your colleagues on the Protocol Support Committee (PSC) Clinical Trial Nurse Committee (CTN), the Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Committee and/or to serve on one of the PSC Working Groups: Education and Training, Mentorship, Protocol Review or Quality Control.

We are looking for research professionals that have time to commit to these working groups and committees, with the support of their PI’s. These groups/committees meet twice a year at the semi-annual group meeting, participate in periodic conference calls throughout the year and work on projects and reviews throughout the year. Attendance at the NRG meetings is expected. There is no funding for these positions or travel, but it is a great opportunity to help plan educational and training sessions for NRG Oncology clinical trial nurses and research coordinators, provide mentorship and support research nurses/coordinators, identify patient care and data management issues that impact protocol compliance and implementation and provide oversight to protocol development and implementation from a CTN and CRA perspective. These Committees and Working Groups help facilitate the research initiatives of NRG Oncology, identify group needs and strategize for future projects.
